Remodel and addition to existing Craftsman era home in the beautiful neighborhood of Westwood Park in San Francisco. This is our own home, which we have lovingly restored and enlarged to meet the needs of a modern family. Previously a typical two bedroom, one bath house, we added a third bedroom and bathroom downstairs as well as a home office/family room. An addition in the side yard provided space for a new master bathroom. We have also remodeled the kitchen and rebuilt the decaying front stairs, incorporating custom designed iron handrails fabricated by the talented Princeton Welding. The rear yard was partially excavated to provide a walk-out patio and the old concrete slab was recycled as a retaining wall for the vegetable gardens.
We have recently continued the greening of our home with the installation of a solar photovoltaic system by Solar City.
